National Home Inspection Service Inc. has been providing real estate services in the Columbus Ohio area since 1966. Our Home inspectors have the education and experience necessary to inspect a property and provide the information necessary to make and informed decision. A Standard Home Inspection includes an immediate computer generated report concerning the condition of the Homes major mechanical systems, which includes the heating and cooling system, plumbing and electrical systems; the roof, attic, and visible insulation, walls, ceilings, floors, windows and doors; the foundation, and visible areas of the structure. Other Home inspection services can also be provided, such as a wood destroying insect report, phase construction reports, partial inspections, radon and other environmental testing.

Education & Credentials

Michael J. Metzger graduated from the Universality of Toledo in 1971 with a degree in Business Administration, next 30 years as Custom Home Builder building over 1,000 custom homes in the Central Ohio area. Starting in 1993 to date as a professional home inspector performing more than 10,000 home inspections. Memberships include ASHI (American Society of Home Inspectors) and NAHI (National Association of Home Inspectors) and the JLC (Joint Legislative Committee) representing the membership of OC-ASHI & OC-NAHI concerning the licensure of Ohio home inspectors and BIA (Building Industry Association of Ohio).
