Advocate Inspections Inc. is a fully licensed and insured home inspection company located in Raleigh. I am a full time home inspector performing inspections in the greater Triangle Area of Raleigh, Durham and Chapel Hill. I inspect in and around Apex, Cary, Carrboro, Clayton, Fuquay-Varina, Hillsborough, Garner, Knightdale, Morrisville, Pittsboro, Research Triangle Park, and Wake Forest.
I hold NC Home Inspector License #2521 and NC General Contractor License #61438. I perform Buyer, Seller, Phased New Construction, Home Check-up and Warranty inspections. I am an officer of the North Carolina Home Licensed Inspectors Association (NCHLIA) and an accredited member of the Better Business Bureau. For homes up to 3500 square feet and less than 20 years old, home inspections generally take about 3.5 hours. Older homes and larger homes usually require more time. The inspection includes the foundation, structural components, exterior and grading, roofing, plumbing, electrical, heating and cooling, interior, insulation, ventilation, and built-in kitchen appliances. The detailed report will describe problems through narrative statements and enhanced color photographs, explain possible implications of the defects, and recommend a course of action. The report meets the Standards of Practice of the North Carolina Home Inspector Licensure Board (NCHLIB) and is emailed to the client by midnight the following day. I prefer to schedule inspections at 9am but can be flexible to accommodate your schedule. An actual report is available for your review at my website.
